Katie's first sex scene was in Ed Powers' Dirty Debutantes #197. She then landed the covers of what have become classic adult serials, including "Barely Legal", and "Jail Babes". In 2002, Katie Morgan was "Kelly the Coed", and by the end of that same year, Katie was hosting the Wanker Show with Wankus on KSEX radio (2002-2006). She was also known for her role as the score keeper on Playboy TV's The Weekend Flash(2002-2003), and for her quick hits segments on Totally Busted(2003-2004). In 2003, Katie turned her attention to feature films, well-known titles include, Space Nuts, Dirty Little Cheaters, and Dirty Dancers: The Movie. Popular movies shot in 2004 include, Key Party, 30 days in the Hole, and Tails from the Hollywood Hills. In 2005, Katie hosted the first season of the pay per-view series Sex Factor, as well as co-hosting the KSEX games. Katie has also appeared in several soft-core premium cable-TV shows including Sex Games Cancun, and The Erotic Traveler. Other popular titles from 2005 are, Dirty Movie, Get Luckier, and Camp Cuddly Pines Power Tool Massacre which was also done in an HD DVD version.

In the wake of the overwhelming success of her HBO specials, Katie hit the feature strip club circuit in 2006. Her films shot in 2006 include, God's Will, Love is Blue, and Wonderland. Katie Morgan is a Los Angeles native having been born there in 1980. She's a Pisces, and grew up in the adult film capital of the world... the San Fernando Valley. The oldest of a large family, she was home-schooled, and graduated high school at 16. Before her debut in adult films, Katie held a number of jobs including convenience store clerk, waitress, and pet store manager. She's a major animal lover. She also explained how she chose the surname Morgan based on her fondness for the alcoholic beverage Captain Morgan's Rum... and her first name as Katie, in reference to the first name of "Gone with the Wind's" Scarlett O'Hara... a favorite literary character and favorite movie. In the same documentary, and during conversation with her interviewer, Katie was asked to confirm her genius-level IQ of 165. She did, and although it's not known that it's ever been verified, Katie has performed well on radio shows like, The Howard Stern Show, when her general knowledge and awareness of past and current events was put to the test.

When questioned about sex on film, Katie stated that she felt that her strong suit as a performer was her ability to give a great cinematic blowjob. She also reported that although she could do other girls for a porn movie, it was not the same experience in real-life for her... like she made it out to be in the course of her x-rated acting. Katie also implied there were some male actors she wouldn't work with... but didn't mention any particular actor or actors by name.
