She was a military brat and grew up on military bases throughout the Midwest. With one success following another, Jesse won an area modeling contest, and was chosen to appear in local and national commercial spots for the Hooters Restaurant chain. This was an amazing coincidence... just one year earlier Jesse claims she engaged in heated, crazy sex in a stall in the women's restroom at the Hooters in her neighborhood.

Jesse also nabbed a noteworthy shoot on the cover of the Texas-based metal band, "Drowning Pool". It was their second album titled, "Desensitized". Jesse was also featured in the music video for the album's first hit single "Step Up". No wonder Jesse admits that Drowning Pool is one of her favorite bands.

Following these accomplishments, Jesse started entering Hawaiian Tropic beauty contests. Through one of these contests, she managed to win a walk-on role in the 2003 made-for-television movie, "Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding".

In August 2002, she was named "Miss Photogenic" by the American Dreams Pageant, and won a contract shooting commercials for the pageant's sponsors. Jesse then launched a career as a top bikini model. From there, she developed a desire to perform in movies which led her to the adult entertainment industry. Jesse's focus on movies led to a contract with the adult-film production company, Digital Playground. Within months of winning this contract, Jesse could be seen on Showtime Network's, Family Business... featuring Seymour Butts... where she was filmed at the Adult Video News (AVN) awards show.

In 2004, Jesse appeared in the first High-Definition (HD) DVD porn movie Island Fever 3, filmed in the South Pacific, and primarily in Tahiti and Bora Bora. Later, Jesse starred in a second popular and critically-acclaimed HD porn movie, Pirates.

The films in which Digital Playground has cast Jesse Jane, such as No Limits, Beat the Devil, and Loaded, have proved to be very popular. Her movie success earned her the branded line of Jesse Jane sex toys. And, several of her movies have won numerous AVN awards... while Jesse has been on the receiving end of several of those awards herself.

During her porn career, Jesse has been linked romantically linked to several rock stars including Kid Rock and Motley Crue drummer, Tommy Lee. In 2007, she announced that she had married fellow porn star, Rick Patrick.
